The Lesser Peachtree Borer is a serious pest of stone fruits like peaches (d'uh), cherries, plums, and apricots in North America. The caterpillars bore beneath the bark of previously damaged trees, stressing the trees further and causing limbs or entire trees to die. (at University of Guelph)
